BloCarton (aka BloCup) is an eco-friendly pedestrian blocker designed for medians. Our aim was to design a triple-bottom line business plan in response to: (social) the growing population seeking alternative income (panhandlers), (environment) increasing landfill diversion rates and increasing public understanding of compost and recycling programs here, and (economic) low cost to fabricate + prime ad space = maximize profit
