Different types of lifts exist to help adults get out of bed, transfer from one place to another, etc but they are usually big, hydraulic and extremely expensive. For a parent with an impairment there is no cheap solution to aid with lifting a child from the ground.

Your task is to design a manual device to support an adult while lifting a child from the ground to a higher level. It needs to be stable so that a squirming child is secure in the device. It should have safety features so that it is impossible to drop the child. It must reduce the load on the parent as much as possible while being simple and easy to maintain. It must also be able to lift from the ground to a stroller or a high chair.

Pour un parent handicapé, il n’existe pas de solution bon marché pour aider à soulever un enfant du sol.

Votre tâche consiste à concevoir un dispositif manuel permettant d'aider un adulte pour soulever un enfant du sol vers un niveau supérieur. Il doit être stable pour qu'un enfant qui se tortille soit en sécurité dans l'appareil. Il doit être doté de dispositifs de sécurité afin qu'il soit impossible de laisser tomber l'enfant. Il doit réduire au maximum la charge du parent tout en étant simple et facile à entretenir. Il doit également pouvoir se soulever du sol jusqu'à une poussette ou une chaise haute.
