This client's daughter has outgrown the bob skates (dual blade adjustable strap-on skate) she has been using. These are made for kids about 2-6 years old. Because of her orthotics her foot will not fit in a typical skate for older children and adults. Therefore any other skate assists would not work for her. She would need the support of 2 blades for her ankles.
Your task is to design a bob skate that will fit older children. It must be sturdy and safe to use. It must be easy to use (with winter gloves) and to maintain. It must have 2 blades to increase stability. It should ideally be adjustable so that it can fit well as the user continues to grow.
