Contexte du projet

When this client is hospitalized he loses access to his AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device since he is not in his wheelchair and in a bed. He currently controls a surface pro with his AAC software installed on it with a joystick mounted in the foot rest of his chair (4 directions and a select button). The joystick is not transferable and he has doubts about being able to use it in a lying position. He was initially thinking about switch scanning in a grid or a 'd-pad' setup with 4 directions and a click however the solution can look like many different things as long as it is usable. Your task would be to help Jorge be able to communicate efficiently when he is in bed and have as little configuration as possible from the chair for hospital staff to be able to easily implement it.
